We have tons of haunted Halloween events coming up! Find some notable spooky moments below (and don’t forget to visit the events page for the latest!).

Reminder: If you decorate your campground for Halloween this year, please respect the park’s natural environment and remember to remove all decorations and trash when the festivities are over.

Turkey Point Provincial Park: Halloween Haunt Weekend

Start the weekend by decorating your site and enter the site decorating and pumpkin carving contests.

On Saturday, create a pumpkin masterpiece for a chance to win a prize, then dress up and trick-or-treat at the campgrounds!

October 6-9, 2023

MacGregor Point Provincial Park — Witches in the forest

Activities include a pumpkin carving competition, trick-or-treating, camp decorating and fun family programming about “spooky” animals like bats, snakes and spiders.

October 13-15, 2023

Inverhurón Provincial Park — RIIP (Resting Inverhuron Park) Halloween Weekend

Ready for a spooky Saturday? Check out Inverhuron’s fabulous events:

Pumpkin carving contest: 5:30-8:30 pm

Staff will be hanging around the campground looking to judge the pumpkins. The staff will award ghoulish prizes for the best adult and child sizes.

Best costume contest: 17:30-20:30

Staff will secretly judge the costumes and award prizes for the best children’s costume and the best adult costume.

trick or treating: 5:30-8:30 pm

Walk from campsite to campsite through our Holmes Bay campground and enjoy delights.

Campsite decoration contest: 7:00-8:30 pm

Pack up your Halloween decorations and come help make the woods spooky. Do you love prizes? The staff will look for the best decorated campsite.

Campers, come prepared to decorate your site/tent/trailer – the spookier the better! On Saturday night, ghosts and goblins will go trick-or-treating at decorated campsites.

A favorite time of year for our ghosts and goblins.

Campers are invited to decorate their sites, dress up in costumes, trick-or-treat, and join any Discovery programs offered that weekend.
