Stay warm and cozy in Ontario Parks this December in one of our indoor accommodations! We have many cabins, cabins and yurts available throughout the month, including several weekend openings!

Algonquin Provincial Park (Mew Lake) — yurts (7)

Yurt in winter

Each yurt is equipped with a table and chairs, as well as two sets of futon bunk beds (sleeps six). The yurt has electric heating, fluorescent lighting, and an electrical outlet. Outside, the yurt sites are equipped with a picnic table and fire pit.

Just outside Huntsville, 2 hours from Toronto, 1 hour from North Bay

Camping Cabin in Arrowhead

These rustic one-bedroom cabins sleep five people and include a dining table and chairs. Amenities include a kitchenette with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and countertop. Outside you will find a gas barbecue and picnic table. A propane/electric fireplace provides additional comfort.

The camp cabin is a rustic one-room cabin with a wood interior and a covered front porch. The cabin sleeps five people in a queen bed and a double/single bunk bed. The cabin has a small kitchen with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle and hob. There is a dining table and chairs for indoor dining. Outside you will find a gas barbecue and picnic table. A propane fireplace provides a cozy temperature and atmosphere inside.

Jacques House - dining room

This one and a half story cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, wood burning fireplace, BBQ and propane. The cabin sleeps six people. Bed linen and towels are supplied.

Heritage House

Close to park trails, beaches, and day-use facilities, this four-bedroom Victorian home is furnished with antiques. Equipped with everything you need for a luxurious Sandbanks holiday.

Silent Lake Provincial Park — yurts (8)

2.5 hours from Toronto / 3 hours from Ottawa

Spend the day skiing, snowshoeing, or ice fishing, then return to a heated base (pst! Yurts 5, 9, 16, and 38 include wood stoves, while the others use electric heating). The yurts sleep up to six people and have a fire pit and propane barbecue outside for cooking.

Shores of Lake Superior, 1.25 hours from Thunder Bay

Sleeping Giant's Cabin

These barrier-free cabins are located in the park on the shores of Lake Marie Louise. Each cabin has three bedrooms, a bathroom with a large shower, a fully equipped modern kitchen, propane fireplace, and heated porch. Pots, pans, cups, bowls, plates, cutlery, kettle, coffee maker, pillows and bedding are provided. Outside each cabin is a fire pit and picnic table.

While there are many weekend opportunities available, you’ll find the best selection Sunday through Thursday.
