Our history, our future: a traveling exhibition
Attractive display featuring a large graphic of a lake and forest in the background, the Ontario Parks logo in French and English, and a timeline of Ontario Parks history.

2018 marks the 125th anniversary of Ontario Parks!

To commemorate this milestone, an ingenious traveling exhibit celebrating the major achievements of our provincial park system will tour the province.

125 years of Ontario parks

Since 1893, with the creation of Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario Parks has grown to a system of 340 parks.

This traveling exhibit highlights the positive role Ontario parks have played in protection, education, recreation and science over the past 125 years.

The centerpiece of the exhibition is a timeline of the major achievements and milestones of Ontario parks throughout history.
