Winter RV Trips at MacGregor Point

Imagine ringing in the New Year in a winter wonderland. The light from your campfire reflects off the snow and your friends and family pour cocoa from the pot bubbling over the flames.

This is a familiar scene for seasonal RVers at MacGregor Point Provincial Park.

Whether you just need a place to store your RV during the winter or you’re ready to experience winter in a whole new way, MacGregor Point’s winter RV program could be just what you need!

The winter RV program is unique to MacGregor Point Provincial Park. Our winter RVs stay warm and comfortable in their powered sites and have a safe place to park their RVs during the snow season. MacGregor Point offers a Comfort station fully operational, roads plowed and camps plowed.

The winter RV season runs from November 1, 2019 to April 12, 2020. Some RVs stay all winter, while others only stay one or two weekends a month.

Skate on the trails

Glide through the forest on the MacGregor Point Ice Trail. The 400m skating oval offers an unforgettable outdoor experience. When we turn on the lights at night, it’s really magical.

Go cross country skiing

The Deer Run Trail (11 km) is suitable for both beginner and experienced cross-country skiers. This combination trail winds gently through upland hardwood forests and wetland areas.

Put on some snowshoes.
